Confirmation
Each year, Granbury First conducts classes instructing our youth in the Christian faith. Confirmation consists of study covering topics including God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, Spiritual Gifts, and church membership.
The class day and time varies from year to year, but are often on Wednesday nights.
At the end of the study, each Confirmand stands before the church body on Confirmation Sunday and proclaims his or her faith in Jesus Christ.
A unique aspect of our confirmation program is an adult mentor assigned to every Confirmand. Mentors are members of this church who build a relationship through the use of a mentor guidebook with a Confirmand. Mentors then stand with the family on Confirmation Sunday as another adult who has made a difference within the life of a young person.
