SERMON SERIES “THE HOLE IN OUR GOSPEL”

Rev. Norman started a 5-week sermon series September 18th, based on the book “The Hole in our Gospel”, by Richard Stearns. Rev. Norman is inviting us to join him in reading this book which calls us to consider, “how a fresh look at the gospel will take you to a deeper understanding of your faith and inspire you to do your part to demonstrate God’s  love for a hurting world.”  

As a part of growing in Christ, the students participate in many events and trips throughout the year and some of these include:

· Fall & Spring Retreat
· Glen Lake Summer Camps
· February Banquet
· Spring Break trips
· All Girl Retreats
· All Guy Retreats
· Student Activities Week
· Community-wide Love Granbury outreach project

Our two big trips for the year are Choir Tour and Mission Trip.

Choir Tour

After each school year, the Wesley Singers take a choir tour. These students share their ministry by singing concerts at locations, such as Nursing or Children’s Homes; soup kitchens as well as different churches.  

Mission Trip

This is our opportunity to serve others outside of our community and is an amazing growth experience for students individually and as a group.  Mission trip is a chance to broaden our horizons from different experiences and to become the hands and feet of Christ.
